Payment for each workshop is due upon registration.

COVID Information: We require proof of vaccination + booster in order to attend our classes. Until further notice, masks are required during the class. Upon registration, email a copy of your vaccination card and driver's license to us at or feel free to stop by the shop and we can copy these for you there.

Refund Policy: If we have to cancel the class for any reason, you're refunded 100%. If you cancel up to two weeks before the class you're also refunded 100%. If within the two week time frame, you're refunded 100% if there's a waiting list. If there's no waiting list we will refund 50%. This is so we can pay the instructor for those who do come to the class. Thank you for understanding!

Beginning Rug Hooking

Cost - $55 + 35 for the kit

Class will take place in Jeffersonville, Vermont

Join Green Mountain Hooked Rugs for an educational and relaxing afternoon of rug hooking. Class content includes basic technique, helpful tips and suggestions, and ways to keep your body safe and healthy while rug hooking. Through lecture, demonstration and hands-on work, students will experience this historic craft while working on a small project to take home. Green Mountain Hooked Rugs has been teaching all aspects of rug hooking for many years and will display some of our rugs as well as share some of the history of rug hooking. Kits, supplies, and equipment will be available for purchase ($35-$100) and equipment will be loaned to beginners to use during the class. Even if you are not a beginner, you are welcome to come and brush up on your technique, and enjoy the camaraderie of other rug hookers.
